Working alongside the team at Consume&Create I helped to concept and execute a series of different social content pieces for Cali based taco shop, Pink Taco. They were tired of being pigeon-holed into being the “brash” taco shop with an edgy name and bright colors.

So we worked to create some content buckets beyond the usual food porn and boozy drink shots that helped to highlight the depth and personality that an experience at Pink Taco offered. We tapped into restaurant culture and a witty tone of voice to help deliver our series across reels, in-feed posts, and stories.

  • Taco spots are such a staple (especially in LA) but how much does the audience REALLY know about the traditions and history of the food they love so much.

We used illustration coupled with DIY visual aesthetic and fun copy to educate on the nuances and history of the foods we love so much.

  • A restaurant’s culture is something that is truly unique. It’s built not bought, forged by countless interactions and time honing their craft.

This content series was built for the ones in the know to help educate the ones who aren’t on the finer points of restaurant etiquette.

  • We leaned on Pink Taco’s roots in music and created a content bucket that helped us share what gets us moving and shaking throughout the day. Curated playlists, battling mixes, and DJ night announcements were a few of the ways this content series came to life on social.
